You began your martial arts adventure by showing up to practice that first day. Now you have to survive to the end. But the road to black belt is in some sense a journey of attrition. DID YOU KNOW?

The Taekwondo uniform, or do-bok, comes from the ancient roots of civilization.

In Songahm Taekwondo, the do-bok is traditionally white to represent purity and sacrifice. The uniform displays a student’s respect and attitude toward the art. It’s also important to have the proper patches, an even, properly tied belt and if you are a female, a white t-shirt underneath. So next time you put on your do-bok for class, testing or a tournament, make sure it is clean
